The IELTS General training format focuses on general survival skills in broad social and workplace context and it is typically for those who are going to English-speaking countries for their secondary education, work experience or training programmes.

To attend IELTS exam preparation course a minimum English level of B1 of the Common European Framework Reference is required. The course has a minimum length of four weeks and, if you wish, you can study longer. We will help you in assessing your level and consequently suggest the minimum number of weeks needed to achieve your goals.

The standard course is 15 hours per week. You can also combine your IELTS exam preparation course with a General English course to refine your English skills and get ready for the exam at the same time.

The course focuses on improving your speaking, writing, listening and reading skills, including the ability to be organised and better manage your time during the IELTS test. The lessons are engaging, entertaining, well-structured and based around a variety of activities, catering to a wide range of learning styles.

Your teacher will spend focused time with you, continually assessing your skills so that you will receive useful and relevant guidance, followed by regular progress reports. We understand that every student has unique requirements and different learning goals.

Our teachers are experts in providing tailored activities to help you get the score you need. A combination of exam practice and guided and individual activities will provide you with a flavour of the IELTS exam.
