This daytime class covers all aspects of General English study including speaking, listening, reading, writing, vocabulary, grammar & pronunciation. The lessons are challenging, varied and enjoyable. The teachers are chosen for their dedication and enthusiasm. This course provides a good mix of interactive activities to improve your confidence and ability in English.

The course is right for you if:

• Your level is between Beginner (A1) and Advanced (C1)
• You want to improve your level of English in the UK
• You want to feel more confident when speaking informal English
• You want to speak English more fluently

Accommodation

TEG Winchester works directly with local residents to provide 2 main types of accommodation:

Homestay Accommodation in Winchester with meals

For most students coming from abroad to study with us, we recommend homestay accommodation. This is where you will be provided with your own room, use of facilities, a good breakfast and evening meal every day (with a packed lunch at the weekend) as well as natural speaking practice. We have a number of different homestay providers available.

Single room - £ 140 per week; Twin room - £120 per week. (Full Board included).

Self-catering Homestay Accommodation in Winchester

A less expensive option is Private Home accommodation. This is self-catering and there may be less contact with the accommodation provider. This option is available to 18+ year old students.

All Homestay and Private Home accommodation providers are inspected by TEG Winchester to high standards to ensure that they can provide the required service before we send any student to them. You are, of course, invited to comment at any time on the suitability of your homestay accommodation and homestay provider.

Single room - £ 105 per week; Twin room - £95 per week.
